British Citizen with roots that go back to Syria where he spent 11 years during his childhood. Married with 3 children.

A Business Administration and Finance Graduate from De Montfort University in Leicester who left his job after 10 years of working for one of the largest Energy Firms in Europe to fully dedicate himself for the people of Syria.
With his Management & Accounting experience; he was able to join efforts in setting up a charity in 2011 to help those affected by the conflict in Syria.

Hand in Hand for Aid & Development (operating as Hand in Hand for Syria) is now one of the leading agencies in Syria and has over 520 employees. The organisation is in receipt of funds from Institutional Donors, Governments and UN Agencies in addition to Individual Donations.

The organisation focuses on the following sectors:
• Health & Nutrition
• WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene)
• Food Security
• Protection
• Shelter

Hand in Hand for Syria is the Hosting Agency for the NGO Forum in addition to the Co-Lead Agency for WASH Cluster alongside UNICEF and a founding member of SNA (Syrian NGO Alliance).
