Biography
Mingo Heiduk has been working in the development and humanitarian sector since 2010, for the past eight years with a specific focus on supporting the effective engagement of diasporas in those fields. In her function as Head of Unit of the Diaspora Global Programme at Danish Refugee Council, Mingo has been developing concepts and leading projects as well as advocacy efforts supporting diasporas engagement in humanitarian assistance, early recovery and development work, focusing on activities such as capacity development, project support services, networking and consultations as well as research & advocacy.
Mingo has contributed to a number of studies and publications on the topic and was part of the group of founders of the DiaGram network of organisations working to facilitate diaspora engagement, aiming towards an increased exchange of knowledge and expertise within the field.
